Die Aktion „Warten vorm Dom“ ergab sich aus dem Umstand, dass ich eine Person gerne einmal wieder sehen wollte. Unsere Begegnung beruhte bereits darauf, sich zufällig zu treffen und so beschloss ich, mich für ein paar Tage lang immer zur ungefähren Feierabendzeit auf die Domplatte zu stellen und dort auf ihn zu warten.
Die Foto-Textarbeit, die daraus entstanden ist, war Teil der Rauminstallation „das Büro ist verlassen…“, Rundgang der Kunsthochschule für Medien, Köln, 2024.

The event “Waiting in front of the cathedral (Kölner Dom)” arose from the fact that I wanted to see a person again. Our encounter was already based on meeting by chance and so I decided to stand on the Domplatte for a few days at around evening time and wait there for him.
The photo-text work that resulted from this was part of the room-installation “das Büro ist verlassen…”, 2024.
